Every single fear makes up a shadow,
One that follows us all,
It starts in one's youth,
Before spreading into adulthood.
There are many things people are frightened of,
We call them phobias,
But it's really a collective trauma,
Based on different experiences.
It's water that is like quicksand,
But as black as a dark matter,
The sand is made up of glass shards,
Fragments of your imagination.
Even in the darkest water,
You can swim,
So you will live,
Don't let fear,
Pull you in and take your happiness,
You are more than the monster inside of your head.
