First Sin; Infinite Interpretations Therein.
What happened in the garden of Eden? Was it good? Bad? Ugly? Fiction or non-fiction. Poetry or prose. All speculations and ethos welcome. Have at it!
the beauty in mistakes
a man and a woman
innocent of all sins
a tree and a snake
one helpless, one manipulative
had that snake not existed,
we wouldn't have this story as a reminder of what we are
beings created with free will
we have the choice-
we can choose what we do
and sometimes the wrong decisions are what we need to convince us we need the God that gave us that free will
our mistakes are what make us human
but they don't separate us from God,
they connect us-
He sent His son to die
so that we may be free of our sins
so what happened in the garden of Eden may not have been intended,
but it was beautiful
