Tired of the Cold

To be honest I am tired of the cold

I am in a perpetual state of freezing

To the point I am becoming numb

And hate that it is the middle of June

and I am still wearing your sweater

But it is the only thing that gives me

a tinge of warmth, but even that is

And now I just want to build a fire

with everything that was us and consuming

and I want to jump in until I burn...
