Gratitude Journal For The Week of 5/1/2023
A Church I follow has an app (Crossroads Anywhere) where we journal together as a community, and one of the things we journal about are things we are thankful for. I wrote these for this week's prompts from the app....

"What are you looking forward to this week?"
- Seeing some great friends from out of town this week.
- Working on balancing work, family, and hobbies.
- Spending time with God and continuing to work on my relationship with Him.

"What are you grateful for today?"
I am grateful for the fellowship and meal I got to share with my family and friends that are family last night. I am thankful for a little extra sleep this morning (even though I overdid it), time with God before work this morning, and playoff hockey tonight.

"What made you smile or laugh this week?"
- Laughs over a meal with family and friends from out of town that are family.
- Reading Mo Willems books to my class is always fun.
- My daughter's excitement about disecting a frog in school today.

Affirmation: "God has great plans for my life."
"Is there anything you would like to thank God for this week?"
Thank You God for always being there, and for helping me through each work week, this one being no exception. Thank You for the family and friends in my life, great food I have had all week, some downtime for the next couple of days, and potentially nice weather for some time outside, including a possible dog park trip.
