A change behind the eyes,

a newfound posture,

a gleaming ambition,

old cobwebs dusted off

and the ancient machinery suddenly activated,

the switch pulled by God, to his own glory

winding me up in secret

to walk in a straight line

right off the cliff,

only to be caught at the last second

and raised up to be with Him.
