Choose Your Side
Did you choose a side
Then be careful to adjust your vision
Once a side is chosen
Half of the view becomes cloudy
And the other half
Becomes much too clear
So clear you start to see
Things that aren't there
Excuses for one comes in a flurry
And we are slow to question
Excuses for the other are condemned
And we are quick with our disapproval
Then in your arrogance
Your side must be correct
You couldn't have chose wrong
Maybe you didn't choose wrong
But in your quest to justify your choice
That side that was so clear
Is now just as cloudy as the other
So at the end of it all
What did you really see?
