An early summer morning
Did I feel a cool breeze?
A leaf flutters to the ground
And lands among a dozen others
The garden is less green
The flowers less brilliant
There are fewer crickets chirping
Today will be warm
It’s August afterall
But all too soon
Summer will give way to Fall
