The light flickered. I have my wife next to me and she didn't seem to notice. Again they flickered. This time it caught my attention to, I lifted my head and scanned the room. Everything seemed to be exactly the way I remembered. I gazed back down at my book to when all of a sudden the lights blew out. Panic raced through my body as I grabbed my wife. The temperature of the room could freeze water. I immediately started looking for a source of light but the options were limited. As my eyes started to adjust I could make out some of the furniture. The oversized TV directly in front of the bed and the antique dresser on the left side of the room. The TV began to static and that's when I knew she was back.
