Beelzebub Has a Devil Put Aside for Me: SYNOPSIS
A Catholic priest begins receiving flattering letters from whom he assumes is a parishioner. The letters start off very innocently, even flirtatiously, then begin to challenge the meaning of liturgy, finally challenging everything the priest has faith in. As his faith breaks down, occurrences in his daily life begin to mirror what is said in the letters. When he suspects, then realizes, that this is correspondence with the devil, rather than cast the interactions away as a faith-based mandate, he engages the writer. The letters becoming a twisted, horrifying horoscope of his daily life and the people dear to him. Too late he realizes he is out of his league.
We're talking the devil here. Dark introspection that introduces plot elements of terror and cruelty that shake the very foundation of the meaning of life--and its value. Terrorism attacking the soul.
