Artemis is the sky and moonlight is all I have left to bask in
she has held me huddled in the hallway
sobbing on the staircase
she has crawled under stalls and it would take more than my fingers and toes to count how many tears she has wiped from my cheeks
she has always been my Antarctica
cold and solid and melting around me to form an ocean of
tears on our salty skin
we were never stable
but just because our minds are muddles and our cheeks are puddles doesn't make us weak
I wish I could be her eyelashes so I might kiss her cheek every time a tear falls and every time in between
Ally Rain has always been an ocean
I could never describe her depth to any lesser degree
dew drops have embraced her and I find her engulfed by a sea of her own creation
I've never met anyone more magic
the weight of her gaze isn't something many can carry and the moment she enters a room the very walls find themselves breathless
she has always been a downpour
and I can feel her every time the sky falls
