Challenge
I love to observe people around me. Sometimes I'll find someone who stands out in the crowd and their very being or action inspires me to write about them. Write a poem about a certain kind of person who stands out to you in the crowd. Observe every little detail. What do they make you feel? do they inspire you to do something? Why do you notice this person? Is it their smile, or a gesture? Anything can be applied to your piece, as long as its inspired by a stranger. I'd love it, if you'd tag me
The Child
Little one
You are surrounded
By we troubled souls
Who remember innocence
Little one
You are shielded
By a common awareness
That you are unaware.
And strangers smile at one another
Knowing each remembers.
