The Monkey and the Maiden
"Get Out!" she screamed wailing baby in hand, "Why don't you go make some money to feed this family!" As Kwan Yin yelled at Wukong five little monkeys were jumping on the mattress of the crowded one room studio apartment in Chinatown. One did a flip and landed on her head which cause the floor to open up. His bed poked through the bedroom of the downstairs neighbors, a group of bachelors, one of which had taken his day off to invite a lady friend over.
His lady friend screamed and brought her arms to her chest.
Kwan Yin was distracted and didn't noticed all of this. She was focusing her vengeful "mercy" on Wukong. She bared her breast and the baby sucked on it and was instantly calm. The monkey who had hit his head brought it back through and whispered for his sister, who was the quickest with the magic training, to help out. She now poked her head through.
"Continue as before." she waved her hand at the couple in their 20's as if they were the children and she were an adult, thought she was in her 10's. And then she withdrew her head and sealed the floor up by putting her palm over the hole... good as new. Kwan Yin and Wukong would argue about which side she got her talent from. They even argued about her looks because she looked more human than monkey, but nothing like Kwan Yin. Her hair was blond. Wukong's argument was that she used magic to make herself lok that way. Kan Yin argued that they would be able to see through that.
They had named her April, but at 7 years old she had declared her name to be Freyja.
"Just get you and your monkey butt out of here!" yelled Kwan Yin. "And take some of these damn offspring with you," She picked them up and threw them at Wukong.
"Someone would call the police." Wu Kong thought. But Wu Kong, though he paid the rent sporadically, always paid so much money it was ridiculous.
"Been!" Wu Kong said stepping out the door and transforming into a human. He glared at the children. Some of them made very bad transformations... he helped them along.
Wu Kong grabbed all the children on a cloud and flipped them over to the Boston Common where he left them at the playground.
"Stay here." he said, "If anyone bothers you... yell for me." He turned to leave and then thought better of it. He pulled off some hairs and chewed them up and spit out 20 young female baby sitters who appeared to be in their 20's. He made them of varying weights heights and sizes. Pretty ones might attract too much male attention and distract from keeping an eye on the children. But they would come in handy in terms of talking to police.
Wu Kong jogged around Boston Common and then did a flip into the air. He looked down and over at New York City. He spotted what he was looking for. An armored truck. He pulled out his golden staff out of his ear and was about to crack it open like a nut.
He lifted his leg to come down with the staff on the vehicle, when he heard a voice.
"Wukong! How could you? There are people in there."
