Humanity
They were beating him up.
His head looked it would explode.
Blood was on chin and floor.
He even got a cut from serrated steel.
He loves it when they tear him apart.
However, he doesn't mind.
I forgot to mention the kid's name. His name was Ryan.
Ryan was an excelling kid. Exemplary grades, nice personality and good health.
His only friend was a girl, Luca.
They've been together for years, since elementary school.
Whenever he would feel sad,
He would call Luca as a friend.
She would understand him and how he felt.
She was the only one who could understand.
Maybe it was love.
However, the bullies found out from her other friends.
They all wanted to see her burn.
They jumped the pair after school, loaded with guns.
They restrained Ryan, forcefully grabbed Luca.
The leader of the group repeatedly beat Ryan up.
He looked like a rag doll.
Then, the leader forcefully slapped Luca.
Forced her to get down on all fours.
Took off his pants, while Ryan was paralyzed
Ryan had an executive seat to the show.
And the leader finished her.
Did her in all sorts of positions.
It was horrible. Even for Ryan, who had feelings for her.
Then, something fired in Ryan's brain. From the back of his skull and from the bottom of his heart. He wanted to kill them.
He writhed and wiggled, yelling louder and louder. More strongly and lively. Then, he broke free from the two holding him back.
He stole the latter's serrated knife, the one that gave him the scar on his arm. He plunged it in one's stomach and sliced outward.
He did the same to the other and ran toward the leader, who grabbed his gun and shot him in the shoulder. But, it wasn't enough.
Ryan then stabbed the leader. But, he wasn't done.
"You're going to feel my fucking pain!" He breathed onto the leader.
He then took his thumbs and drilled them in his eyes. And yelled.
After that, Ryan Someone was watching and called 911.
Luca could barely stand up. She was violated.
Ryan helped her. For he was the only one who could.
They embraced, both were scared of the future. Luca was crying and held him tightly. Ryan was looking into the distance. That's when he observed the leader's handgun.
"What are we going to do?" Luca asked, crying.
Ryan then held her. Looked her straight in the eyes. The radiant blue of the sea.
And he kissed her, so wondrously, passionately and uniquely. It was paradise yet all darkness was lingering offshore.
Then he took the gun. Gave it to her.
Told her to shoot him between the eyes. The eyes that held that passion for her.
She was petrified. So much, she couldn't suck it up and do it. The scars everywhere showed.
"It's ok. I knew you couldn't do it," he said, "Goodbye."
And he acquired the gun, inserted it into his mouth and shot. His life sprayed everywhere.
Luca could only process this when the police arrived. But, being the person that she was, she also greatly understood why.
There was no place for him in the world.
