Losing your temper feels like?
Tempered
It begins with little things, glances, prods, and remarks that you casually dismiss at the time, but which over the course of the morning begin to form a hairline crack in my defences.
By mid afternoon the continued pressure causes the crack to become a fissure, slight but noticeable through close inspection. By close of play the pressure behind the crack has increased considerably, causing it to widen.
All it takes then is burnt piece of vegetable, too much salt on the vegetables, an apple that is slightly tart, a call that gets cut off mid sentence, and Krakatoa erupts.
