These Are The Reasons Why I Write
I can't speak,
I can only dream.
I can't write,
I can only weave.
Worlds clash together;
People meet their fate.
Kingdom's fall and people rise;
Hero's grow and hero's die.
These are the reasons why I write:
Rhymes and chimes:
Unused words.
Things that people think but can not say.
Histories to make, creatures to create,
Mystical, magical, musical days.
Those are the words I wish to sway.
Fighting a war centuries old,
Living your life by the sword.
These are the reasons why I write:
I can't help but think,
That life is never quite as simple as we believe.
Secrets and mysteries woven through histories:
Families that just don't quite mesh.
It's a release of frustration,
A lease of imagination,
The whirl of creation,
The words for every occasion,
These are the reasons why I write.
