Writer’s Dilemma
I sit down to write,
on a blank sheet so white,
My mind is about to explode,
Words are about to flow,
But I hear a familiar sound,
It's the notification on my phone,
My bubble of thought is broken,
The magical world I created is crumbling,
I have to make a quick decision,
I take a look at another stupid offer,
No, it was not a message from my lover,
I come back to my blank page,
But my mind has become sore,
It doesn't cooperate anymore.
My lover has taken over my mind,
The blank white sheet stares sadly at me,
I sit there staring back helplessly,
Who can save me from this dilemma,
To let go and forgive my lover,
Or go back to create magic on paper.
