When winter gives way to spring

Flowers bloom

The smell of rain in a down pour

The chirps of frogs fill the land

Crickets and cicadas join in too

All sing a chorus just for you

Lightning bugs dance at night

stars twinkle in heavens delight

Long strolls across the beach

Hand in hand with earths melody

A gentle breeze kisses cheeks

The warm water touches our feet

As we watch distant animals play

A picnic in a grassy knoll

Dining on freshly picked delights

Standing quietly as the sun does set

Wrapped in your gentle arms

Laying cozy in bed

Knowing tomorrow you'll be here

Forever together beside me
