Challenge
Challenge of the Week #59: Modernise Shakespeare’s ‘Shall I Compare Thee’ sonnet. The most masterfully written piece, as voted and determined by the Prose team, will be crowned winner and receive $100. Quality beats quantity, always, but numbers make things easier for our judges, so share, share, share with friends, family, and connections. #ProseChallenge #getlit #itslit
My Red Rose
If I compared you to a red rose
It's red never ending passion
Your careful soft kiss shows
Your love turns red ashen
Your serene blue eyes
That to none do compare
Turns my stomach to butterflies
As does your soft blonde hair
My love to you
Could never grow old
'Cause all that you do
Is more precious than gold
You are mine and I am yours
Lets dance together on heavens floors.
