I Write
My first poem at eight years old was,.."There once was a lady Miss Miser. We think that we should disguise her. No wonder she's Miss, she's never been kissed, and I would never despise her."
It went on from there. My marriage was falling apart. I wrote "Our last two pieces of Crystal" I wrote "The Nail" I wrote about the mending of my soul as if I knew the marriage had a closing time. It did. I write to challenge the hearts of the readers who just might make a change, just might do it, just might enroll if they were encouraged. I write so that people will feel human in their thoughts and doubts during self evaluations that we all experience from time to time. I write to teach. Some of us don't know their tears are connected to their heart in complicated ways I can't explain. I exclaim! We are human normal emotional beings! You are not alone during your frustrated insecure moments! I say, "Me fuckin' too." I write so that you can be entertained. I run down the halls at my work yelling, "snack time! White people and cheese!"
Laugh. Fart. Laugh.
You are not alone. I encourage you to write.
