Scotland.
Rain.
William Wallace.
Haggis, neeps, and tatties.
Irn Bru.
Kilts are worn by the manliest of men.
Loch Ness and Loch Lomond.
Rabbie Burns.
Shortbread.
The Jacobites.
Auld Lang Syne sang at the happiest time of year.
All these things make up my homeland, which I'm proud to say is Scotland.
Although at times I hate the sight of it, no matter where I go, I'll always call it home.
Anywhere I go, I will always praise Scotland.
As I listen to popular music through my earphones in America, or outside the Notre Dame, I'll always switch over to my classic Scottish songs, even if that varies from Ye Jacobites to Flower Of Scotland.
Braveheart and Trainspotting will always be my top movie picks.
Renton. Sickboy. Begbie. Spud.
Four names that will only mean something to true Scots,
those who know this speech from the first two words like the back of their own hands. "Choose life."
Until the day I die, I will always love Scotland, and I will always want our freedom we deserved, the freedom that William Wallace fought for.
