Frozen
"Women and children first!" The announcer called over the speakers. I could see the hoard of them rush into the room. They're was a slight humming noise, then it stopped. "Now men it is your turn!" The announcer said under his, or maybe her breath. I stepped forward slowly feeling a rush of cool air flooding over me, "Weird for the summer."
Suddenly I heard a scream in front of me, "Run! It's not what you think! It's not what you th—" I turned around and started walking away, my gut believed whoever said that, something wasn't right. I didn't make it far before the hoard of bodies pushed me along with them into the building. It was cold, freezing cold. The hum began and it got colder and colder. At first my fingers couldn't move, then my whole arm. A few seconds later the only thing I could still feel was my own head. Than it was gone, it was all gone.
I opened my eyes and there was nothing left besides me and the people who had also entered that thing.
