Field Of Snow

Once upon a field of snow

children played and danced

making snow angels

till their backs ache

from the freezing cold

faces turned frostbitten pink

soon to come inside

to a nice cup of hot chocolate

toasting up in front of a cozy fire

and falling asleep

 with their companion at the foot of their warm bed
