Misconception.
People say that misconceptions will lead you to making love for money. They say that you feel as though the world owed you something, you feel as though you don't want to do anything, so you take the easy way out. I did take the easy way out but it isn't a tragedy.
Nothing about my life is melancholy actually, I hallowed out a old bar that was downtown and turned it into "Diamonds" and my name is all over the place.
"Holly Mae!" That's all you hear people saying, "Holly, where's all the dollies?" That's the question from ear to ear. I sell my ladies and they make the money. In the mean time, I feel like I'm living up to my moral. I strip and party. Party so hard that education is no longer a factor to me. I could care less, honestly.
But you know what, the fun is knowing how to roll dice in the night lights and watch the big cars drive fast. That's life in Vegas, nothing forlorn and gloomy about it. I'm most definitely not poor either because I'm living it to my fullest potential as well.
So when they say, "oh you're a prostitute and you strip, you ain't nothing." that isn't true. Why? Because if the world you living in is made for you and you did it right then you are something, that might be the only thing you can be, so be the best at it.
