Character Sketch
He was middle aged and average height. His expression was a rather mundane one with just a hint of weariness at the edges. His hair was a dusty brown and his eyes a deep sea blue. Much like the deep sea that he often sailed in his big boat. The man wasn't terribly strong, but years of fishing had taught him to use the muscles that he had. His stomach was well rounded, although not fat. If he found something funny he would laugh with a deep rolling kind of laugh that made everyone around him feel they understood the joke as well. His hands were calloused and worn.
The man took great interest in the world around him, although he seldom showed it. If you were to ask him what kind of bird that was, he could often tell you, but you had to work for that information. He hardly ever just spouted out the names of birds, weather patterns, or whaling migration habits; all of which he knew a great deal about. Emotionally, he kept his cards close to his chest. He had loved once, but he never talked about what had happened to her. His closest friend is his dog, whom always travels happily by his side.
