From “Mallor vs Ulzaré”

1.) "Aric, don't!!" shouted a vampire lord as he calls out to a mortal soldier, who stands near a bright light. "Is this really worth it?! Sacrificing yourself just to save these mere mortals?! Join me, and live by my side. I'm giving you a chance here, Aric! . . . Aric? Aric, no!! NO!!! . . . . ARIC!!!"

2.) "I do not know," reported Salia. "But when I sent a group of my best fighters out to slaughter them one came back saying, well . . . unusual things."

"What kind of unusual things? And what do you mean one came back? What happened to the others?" questioned Mallor as he sense an uneasiness coming from Salia's voice. Salia began as everyone stared at her. "The soldier that came back reported that the others have been killed before they even got near the city. She says everyone was killed by . . . a boy."

3.) "So you're the same clock maker from two thousand years ago? But how are you living?" asked Mallor as he stood up cautiously. "And how do you know who I am? We've never met."

"True. Let's just say I've been told about you," answered Ratio as he coldly glares down at the Count with his mechanical eye. "Like you, I'm not exactly human. I'm a being with a purpose."

4.) Ratio chuckles as he grabs Prankster's wrist with his right arm. "I like tricks. Let me show you mine."

This is a story of mine about a vampire lord, named Vance Mallor, who awakens fully recovered after being almost killed by the Great Hero, Aric Ulzaré, during the Great War. They were once close friends. Now Count Mallor tries to rise his reign again, ruling and terrorizing with an iron fist, when he hears word of a rebellion against him, rumors of a powerful champion, powerful enough to end Mallor's reign. During the story Vance will recall memories of his past with Aric and how everything connects with his current situation and these new "heroes" he meets. This is a story about a villain and his side of the story. The first quote on this list is the very first thing you will read on my story if ever published.
