Of Politics and People

There's lots of things I won't discuss

and most I'll never say

We pretend like things don't exist, 

when they certainly won't go away

Of politics and people, 

genders, clothes, and weight

you're entitled to your opinions

of that I won't negate

But riddle me this:

there are more sides than yours

and your close-minded ideas

may even shut opportunity doors

There's lots of things I won't discuss

and most I'll never say

my opinions are my own

my feelings quite the same

your opinion will not 

make mine go away
