Xostara

Who are you? You dare to look upon the great goddess Thalassa without the cognizance to shield your lowly eyes? Well, since you’re here, I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to show you this world I had a hand in designing. This splendid planet you see before you is none other than Xostara. I rule over this place alongside my brother and sister. We were dreadfully bored one day, so we thought we’d have a bit of fun and invent a new world. Xostara is almost entirely composed of water. Being ever so fond of the sea, I covered the planet in a mass of glittering waves. My brother, Vatos, however, was not terribly impressed with my watery feat. Vatos pulled up two islands from the depths of the sea, and strategically placed them opposite each other. Meaning, one island now sits at each of Xostara’s north and south poles. Soon, my sister Yvva, joined us in our little game. Using the sands of each island, she created intelligent beings. We gave them only the most primitive of technologies, and my sister, my brother and I have placed bets on how long it will take for these two groups of people on opposite sides of the world to discover each other.
