Utopia
If there were some way to know for sure that nothing would ever go wrong in life, everyone would live a boring life. We wouldn't take any risks because there wouldn't be any to take. We wouldn't j-walk then stop and laugh as you felt you heart racing and think to yourself 'I almost died!'. We wouldn't gamble and celebrate so fiercely when we won. We wouldn't clench our chests and squeeze our eyes shut after a kiss. We wouldn't cry and laugh and sing after a baby is born. We wouldn't stand in the wings of a stage shaking and pacing nervously before you're cue. We wouldn't hesitate to say 'I love you.'. We wouldn't be shy and reluctant to speak to new people. We wouldn't eat pufferfish and cry after realizing you're not dead. We wouldn't come to tears after watching Marley and Me. (Old movie, I know. I also don't care. That movie's just sad okay?!) We wouldn't read a book and be filled with desire to live in the story world. We wouldn't write down whatever came to mind as it comes to mind because you're sad, angry, happy, or just plain in the mood to write. We wouldn't be human. We would just stop doing the small things that we do all the time that makes people, people.
