what's the name of the game that takes us to our grave?

I'm sure you've heard of it before.

you know, where we run from everyone around us?

it's not an easy game, and I can't remember what it is.

you would have thought, after the toll it took on me,

I'd know it's rules by heart.

can you help me think of the name of the game?

you and I played it everyday,

but I surrendered, you were too good.

the twists and turns, 

the unexpected outcomes, 

they were too much for me, but not for you.

we were a team, why didn't you help me?

when I lost, you were supposed to lose too.

why didn't you? why did you thrive?

oh, I know the name of the game.

it's rather silly that I couldn't remember it, 

but now I know. do you?

I know I haven't been on here in a really long time, but I'm back!! To anyone who reads this, can you give feedback of any kind? For some reason, I've had more trouble writing like I used to and I want to see if my skills have increased or decreased..thanks :) - runawayangel
