These words that I have written,

Are merely the fallen seeds

Of a fruit…

Nurtured and Ripened

Upon a single branch

Of an enormous tree.

Thank you for planting me,

Giving me strong roots,

And for pushing me up…

For without you, I would not be.

As you are

Both my Earth and my Sun.
