In my dreams I fly
The strain is heavy
In my shoulders and elbows
Exertion carries me to the rooftops
Where tiles and skys meet
Sneakers and eyes
I can't beleive my luck
I normally forget how to fly
Especially since I shouldn't be able to
Since no one else can
Not even you
The feeling of remembering
Is like sex, food and god
It's kindred to what death
After this life must be
Awakening into sleep
Sawing logs
...and in my dreams, I fly
