1st Person or 3rd Person?

I like third person point of view over first person. It allows me to show the thoughts and feelings of many characters, whereas first person only allows me to reveal the thoughts, emotions, and intentions of one character. But I do like first person writing, it automatically gives the story a sense of realism that you have to work harder for to obtain in a third person point of view story. Yet at the same time I really love the possibilities that third person point of view gives me; and after being so unrestrained, going to being in the box -- so to speak -- of first person seems well restraining and at many times for me, limiting.
