Broken Glass
A sea of people
Disconnected
Admiring each other afar like pieces of glass
Glittering but broken
Marring each other with each brush
There's unity in devotion
But the faithless only want the faithful
One ballerina dancing in the sea of frenzy
A swaying speck on the planet
But a hooded bearded stranger smiled
His teeth poised for her skin
He left a shard of his window in her
Her skin healed the wound
But I see his reflection when she dances
To the strings on the instrument of regret
A sacrifice song
Celebrating her insignificance
And yet she dances again
Looking at the next hands as if they'd fix the world
And the next eyes as if she was the only one that mattered on it
