For the #ideas I conceived

Because a pink-lemonade #sunrise

Is never more beautiful

Than the morning of the #apocalypse,

And it never harmed me

To entertain the belief

That everything was ending in the #afternoon.

Kiss me by the bug-out bags

And tell me you're proud

That we'll be #safe no matter what

Because I was prepared.

This #fever will #climax soon,

(By the end of the week maybe)

And break with a cold-sweat

When the sun refuses to fall

And I learn there was never a threat to our #home at all.
