Masquerade
Poetry or Prose anything goes... til the clock strikes Midnight
Who is the confided?
To think you actually knew who was behind it all.
Aside from the silky lace twisted around my eyes.
Oh how you thought it was all part of the disguise.
Others wear their mask like I.
Only what you see is not a lie.
Frolicking limbs flap happily around
Laughs dispel when we fall to the ground
Take it as a joke but do not loose from a trip
For sanity never slips
Out the cult’s noose so thick
Never take it lightly
Your belly my tickle
All will March in pradas till the energy trickles
Beware
For I wear
My façade now everywhere
My perversity
Became my natural reality
Come on down and have a drink
Pitch satin on bodies is displayed.
We dance amidst the discordant Parade.
I invite you to come and join the Masquerade.
