All of My Love
I am staring at a blank canvas, what do I paint? How do I decide and interpret what the love of my life is? I would paint the entire canvas black, in the middle I would make an explosion of red and orange. Bright, aggressive, and impactful. Almost reaching up the the corners. It's the love of my life, it's powerful and encapsulates everything. It's the burning desire that lingers in everything I do, and births the string that ties together my loves throughout my life. It is all that remains from the love that I lost, and if you truly love it, you never really let it go. I would paint a bright white line to connnect through the middle of the explosion of color and connecting it to 4 other smaller explosions of color spread throughout the canvas. That line is my pulse, my lifeline to everything I want to do. One smaller explosion would be in yellow and greenish blue, representing my friendships. A strong yellow comfort, and the calming greenish blue tones that represents our enjoyment with each other. Another of the smaller explosions would be black and gold in nature, representing the sport that is the love of my life, rugby. I started playing rugby at my college, so my school colors best represent it, the gold is the bond I have made with everyone in the sport the friendships, loves, and networks. And within it is black, for the pain, punishment, and hard work that goes into it. The next explosion would be white and gray, my jiu jitsu experience level is low, white belt, but I love evrything about the sport that I have experienced, it's a fresh new love. The final explosion is white and red. Representing my family, it is slightly bigger than the other small explosions. Red powerful feelings and bonds holding us together, and white growing and pulling in more love and accptance at all times.
