As if we are a couple of 12-year old boys in the school yard, comparing whose is worse. Better. Mine might be hard to find though. It’s deep inside. I can’t even see it, but I know it’s there.

It hurts when bumped, banged or hit.

It bleeds a little if scratched.

There’s no band aid for it. Just a hard swallow and deep breath as the tissues tear into another gapping fissure.

Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there.
