My colossal universe

When my eyes caught sight

And I sensed the fire

The volcanic emit

Of euphoric desire

The passionate heart

With compassionate goals

A beautiful mind

And infinite soul

The golden piece

That clicked in place

And blasted consciousness

Out into space

Infused in electric

A flame would ignite

Fortuitous, chemical

Set me alight.

What enrages my spirit

Takes a different form

It's a horror story

A violent storm

They scream in terror

And writhe in pain

They're slaughtered and shot

For food and for games

No living creature

Should have to contend

With torture and fear

Dark sinister ends

Forever I'll shout

As my love extends

To our beautiful animals

Our voiceless friends.
