Shall we dance? Rhyming poem no more than 248 lines. (A Prose Gold for a Month Scholarship Challenge)
I Saw You Dance
I saw you dancing all around the floor,
I'm glad you didn't leave through the exit door,
Your style of dancing I do adore,
I would like to watch you dance some more.
You like my dancing so you say,
But is watching others dance your only play?
We only live for a few 27,375 days,
You should start dancing too and start living today.
I'd take your hand if I didn't feel dumb,
My dancing makes everyone quite intensly numb,
Watching me is like watching a bum,
Who dances to a different crazy drum.
Who gave you such a wrong idea?
Look again at everyone dancing here,
No one is a professional my dear,
So let's cut a rug and let go of your fear.
