“Best Friends Forever”

My first memory...I can’t really recall but I do remember when I was in Kindergarten, I met a young girl like myself. She had brown hair and eyes and acted VERY MUCH like a tomboy—she became my best friend. I remember one day, during our play time, my best friend and I would go over to the toy box and grab some large toy dinosaurs (we loved dinosaurs!) and scare the other kids away with them. One brilliant instance was when we wanted to use the doll house—with the doll people inside—so we took our dinosaurs and, in front of the other kids in class, we had the dinosaurs eat the doll people! It was awesome! We had the sound effects and everything! I remember one girl screaming for the teacher and another kid, a boy, crying in the corner. It was great. Guess that’s what happens when you watch too much National Geographic or whatever was on back in the early 90’s.

You could ask my elementary teacher if you want, her name is Mrs. Mitsutitch (not sure if spelled right, sounds like the spelling though) and she lives in Knoxville, Iowa. My best friend and I were always separated whenever we were in a class together :D
