I stand tall, short, fat, skinny,

My arms spread wide.

I can live for a very long time,

But am killed easily,

Nobody notices when I am gone.

I am important to some people,

But not everyone.

My scars are visible,

To anyone who looks,

Close enough.

I am almost where ever you look,

You can hurt me,

I can hurt you.

Who am I?

I give lives,

I take lives,

I die,

I am born.

You take me for granted,

But someday you won't,

You will wish there are more of me,
