Challenge
If I'd known...
If Only I Knew...
If you knew you were going to die tomorrow,
What would you tell your wife?
What would you say, looking her in the eye,
If you knew you were loosing your life?
If you knew you were going to die,
What would you tell your child, just two,
Who doesn't understand what your last goodbye means,
Would you really know what to do?
You know you are going to die,
Never to see another sunset,
Would you cherish the last rays of the end of the day,
Or lament your life half spent?
That moment, now at hand,
Your heart trembles in fear,
What would you feel,
If none shed a tear?
Consciousness fading away,
At the end of your last day,
What are your last thoughts,
As you pass into death,
For now my dear friend,
What more can be said,
You have just passed away,
Your stone dead.
