i thought

the strange word went through my mind

im so alone

i realize

as the night goes on

i am alone

as I wish for someone

i am alone

As i try to distract myself

with fun trips and activities

i am alone

i used to think

i didn’t need friends

until i got one

and then lost her

did I realize what it felt

alone
