Where I Came From
I was gestated and birthed from the seven thousandth, one hundred and forty-first generation Tlexpptl pods, aboard the starship Pewlllu, somewhere near the edge of what you would call the Andromeda galaxy. The Pewlllu had escaped the gravitational pull off the black hole that was pulling our solar system into its crushing maw over a million years ago, as you would figure it. Seventeen years ago, we heard the last gasp of a planet lost to us eons ago. We have landed on this planet, having taken genetic samples of the indigenous sentient species and transferred our consciousness to the resulting forms.
We've been here for a long, long time. I used to be called Jeshua, and then Elosha. My mate was once called Nefertiri, and then Mary. We ate now waiting for our cousins to come for us. They say they will be here in the thousand years. We are patient. We will wait. Until then, I will write of my life, though none will believe me. . .
