Late

I'm late.

My curfew an hour ago,

I silently insert the key.

The door swings open,

Darkness greets me,

I tip-toe in and close the door.

Quietly I put my stuff away,

And switch on the lights.

Nobody will notice,

My late-coming,

There is nobody to scold me.

I live alone.
