My Introduction
Hi.
This is my first post on prose.(obviously)
I created this account because I, on the outside, seem pretty normal.
But nobody, even my bestfriend, fully understands everything that I go through.
And I always keep my feelings inside and is making my life miserable.
So, here is a quick backstory. (I perfer to keep names and ages private)
I am a teenage girl in highschool.
I have one older brother (also in highschool) who acts like he is 1/2 his age. Very immature and lazy.
My mom works more than not. She is always at work, providing for my family.
My dad is an alchoholic. He has been fired from his long time job for drinking while working. He started recovering but has had many set backs as there is a liquor store down my street. He went to multiple AA meetings but nothing seemed to work. My moms side of the family his very Portuguese, which means a lot of alchohol, everywhere. He now relies on TDI to bring in money.
As for me, I try my hardest to do my best in everything. My mom says I am the pefect child. I have above average grades and I am also a dancer. I was in private school most of my life but in 5th grade, my mom switched me over to public school. I am very shy and introverted, so it was hard for me to make friends. But, I already knew some people through basketball or preschool. My entire life changed on the first day of 5th grade. We got to choose my seat, but since I barely knew anyone I kind of just sat anywhere there was an open seat. Little did I know, my "desk neighbor" would soon become my bestfriend. She moved here last year so, we were the new kids. But, she knew more people than I did. She also was on my bus and we ended up sitting together and instantly clicked, though we didn't have much in common. She made life so much better. She introduced me to the world of dance.(I started when I was 10 so I was very much behind). She introduced me to the music I listen to today. She was, for lack of better words, an angel sent down to me. In 6th grade, she convinced me to tryout for the school musical. In my private school, there was no opportunities for us to do styff like this so it was all new to me. But in the end, I actually got a pretty decent role. I continued to do musical theatre all through middle school and I plan on doing it in highschool. That brings us pretty much to the present. My bestfriend and I are pretty much inseperable. Its hard to go a week without seeing her. As for now, I will keep living my life to the best of my abilities.
