i see fire

tenderly

your lips touch mine

embers rise in my throat-

i see sparks between your teeth

and heat upon your tongue

your fingertips graze my hips

as we become each other's flame

and lungs

breathing for each other

as we shout one another's name

we kindle our fire

with a flick of our lips
