And Then There Were None
The roads that life showed opened all around
And she found her desires spreading everywhere unabound
A different aura of hers stood at trimph at every end
But all the roads had their hurdles and bends
She kept to herself and was tempted to choose
But could make no sense of her mind's hues
What it truly wanted and intended to desire
Would all burn solemnly in a strange fire
The people told her to make up her mind
And walk before she had nothing to find
So she treaded on the one her heart seemed content
And some satisfaction to her mind, she lent
On the way she found those who moved no more
Having become accustomed to the path's chores
And pondered within about how the end looked
Was it all she wanted or would it be crooked
Her health fell to circumstance's clutch and waned
For more sorrows and regret were to be gained
Her reflections sat at the end where all roads intertwined
Who were all jestful and happy in a bind
And now she recites the remorse of her journey
Where you lose a lot for a large fee
Walking a road others chose seemed now wrong
Otherwise her list of regrets wouldn't be so long
She saw the different lives that vanished by
She couldn't close her eyes
