INFINITE
There stood a strange being before her eyes. She stared at the Immortal. Suddenly, a gust of wind swirled around her. It seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. The Immortal moved his finger, that even made the wind become much stronger.
Her wings flapped mightily against the ferocious wind. The Immortal then started to shine like a thousand suns. She placed her hand over her eyes. This was such an odd place. Every moment she thought she was getting to finally know it, the more strange things around her became.
She then heard a voice calling her~ it was coming from the Immortal being. His voice boomed like thunder, while she tried to focus on what he was saying she noticed that with his other hand- he was spinning some rocks in a quick motion, all with his glowing hand.
Immortal: Now that you’re here, know that there’s a lot of work to be done. Follow me. I’ll show you the way.
Her wings carried her off to his side, but then she stopped. Where had this being come from? Ms. Evelyn had not intrinduced them, yet.
Seeing her freeze in her tracks, the Immortal started to create an even mightier force of wind. This time, she flew higher above the ground and did her best not to be blown by the wind.
She flew back down to the ground, the minute the wind became calm. The ground started to change, before her eyes— there was a golden bag.
The Immortal asked her to open it. She looked at the bag. And thoughts jumped in her mind. What if this was a trap?
She refused to check the bag. So, the Immortal told her that this bag contained vast amounts of gold that never ran out. She couldn’t believe it. Who’d fall for such a trick?
But when the bag was slightly opened by her desire to see what was in it...she found herself holding the gold in her hands in a couple of seconds. The Immortal being smiled. He always found a way to different beings hearts. Making sure to lure them with what they wish to have.
While she had started to celebrate with all the gold, she hadn’t noticed that the Immortal being was leaving. He cackled. Then looked back at her. She was too focused on the contents of the bag, that she didn’t notice that her only way back home was closing. The Immortal vanished in a blink of an eye. She just kept on having a good time with the gold. After a short while, the gold changed into a bunch of worms. The worms made their way into her body and started to eat her interiors.
She screamed. It was too late. No being would be able to hear her no matter how loud she yelled. The Immortal had made sure of that.
