i went for a walk in the woods ~
i see the glistening water carrying the weight of many logs,
as us humans carry the weight of stress,
i can hear the birds sing and the water flow,
if you enter the city you can hear the train from down below,
the wind whistles and the crisp leaves crunch and crack under anothers shoes,
the city air can be polluted and gray,
but the nature in its purest form seems so clean and fresh,
red, orange, yellow, and green the colors of leaves ever so beautiful,
just watch and listen and you'll fade into air, youll disapper into peace,
i look into the river and see a reflection of my surrondings,
it was like a mirror being looked into by the most beautiful person,
but this was much more pleasent because the water was so pure.
note: this was supossed to represent how the woods and the city are so close yet so different, the woods are so pure and the city can be so depressing so i compared the two in this poem. next chace you get... go take a walk in the woods.
